We are so pleased to welcome Cally Edwards back into the salon after returning from her Maternity Leave.
Cally has been part of the Burlesque Team for many years now, beginning her career as an Apprentice, she now holds the role of Senior Creative Stylist. Her passion for modern, contemporary cutting and colouring have had many of her clients eagerly awaiting her return.
She’s back!! So we thought we would do a little Q&A to find out what’s making her tick these days, here it is.

What hair cuts or colours do you find the most exciting currently?
I’m loving 90’s rogue streak colours and Pixie crops right now, I think it’s time to mix things up a bit.
Name your top 2 “Hair Heroes”, past or present? Which ones inspire you the most?
I am so impressed with Guy Tang, his creativity and willingness to experiment with modern colour techniques and colour combinations is truly amazing. Secondly, all the team I work with, they inspire me on a daily basis.
What are your hobbies?
Drawing and cooking (and drinking on occasion) 😊
What is your favourite drink?
I have many, but Cocktails anytime!
What is your favourite music genre?
Britpop and of course the 80’s
What do you love about the hairdressing industry?
What I love most about hairdressing: being able to create edgy cuts and colours which completely transform a clients overall look and feel .
What is the favourite part of your job?
That has to be colour correction, having free reign, giving you the challenge of creating a totally new result. Every one is unique!
